About Richard Stephen Janis, DBA, MBA, MEd, BA, PCC

Currently living in West Hartford, Connecticut, Rich Janis is a team and leadership development coach, organization development and change leadership practitioner, researcher, and adjunct faculty member. He is principal of the consulting practice, Janis & Janis Associates LLC, specializing in improving productivity, performance, and capabilities of individuals, teams, and organizations.

Richard has completed a doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA), Masters (MBA) in Human Resource Management, Masters in Education (MEd) and Organizational Development, Project and Portfolio Management from schools including Western New England College, American University, University of Massachusetts, Nova, Columbia, and George Washington University.  His doctoral dissertation focused on management and leadership behaviors in the project and portfolio management environment.

His areas of expertise include strategic and operational planning, workforce talent management assessments, leadership and team development, organizational change leadership, and coaching. Workforce assessments focus on solutions for selecting, hiring, developing, managing, engaging, and retaining high-quality employees.
